GetPriceOf is built to compare product offers and send price alerts with as little personal data as practical. This policy explains what the site collects and why.
Data We Collect
Search queries, product pages viewed, redirect clicks, and basic technical request data may be processed so the service can return results, rank offers, prevent abuse, and understand whether the site is working.
If you create a price alert or load a watchlist, we store the email address you provide, the product, the target price, and alert status. The browser may also store your watchlist email locally so you do not need to type it again.
If you request a new product or ask us to refresh existing product coverage, we store the email address you provide, the requested product details, optional retailer URL or notes, request status, and related product identifier when applicable.
How We Use Data
We use data to operate search, price tracking, watchlists, affiliate redirects, rate limits, service diagnostics, and abuse prevention. We do not sell personal data.
Affiliate Links
Some links route through GetPriceOf before sending you to a retailer. This lets us record the click, apply commission tracking where available, and keep the service free to use. Retailer sites have their own privacy policies once you leave GetPriceOf.
Retention And Deletion
Alert and watchlist data is kept while it is needed to operate the tracker. You can remove active trackers from the watchlist page. You can also request deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email used for alerts or requests.
